Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and ultimately through the Logistics Organization, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible to work with newly implemented systems, as well as the Category Management team members, to forecast and replenish products according to marketing plans and programs defined by the Category Management team. The principle requirement of the Supply Chain Analyst is to analyze the flow of product, according to collaboratively developed forecasts, through the Supply Chain from vendors through to the store. The main goal of the analyst is to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time

Requirements:
- Creation and Analysis of product level forecasts to maintain high accuracy in replenishment
- Management of Inventory and all replenishment flows from Vendor to store
- Vendor Management, ensuring all forecast and flow requirements are executed to defined targets/standards.
- Work with Transport, Distribution and Vendors to co-ordinate flow of goods through the network
- Ensure all data management pertaining to forecasts, product and vendor attributes are maintained and updated to reflect recent initiatives and efficiencies
- Undertake process improvement efforts, primarily with vendors and advanced systems, focused on improving KPI’s

- Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Engineering or Marketing
- 2-3 years experience in the retail/wholesale grocery business would be an asset
- Must be analytical and systems-oriented
- Must be driven to improve processes and take initiative to highlight opportunities
- Must be detail oriented and must be able to handle multiple priorities in a faced-paced environment
- Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment
- Must have strong computer skills, especially with Excel
- Previous experience with SAP and JDA Manugistics is an asset
- Previous retail experience is an asset
