Party Packagers, your one stop shop for ALL your party needs, is expanding! We are looking for a Merchandise Supervisor to join our diverse team!

Purpose:To lead the store merchandise receiving and distribution through accurate and timely receiving and store merchandise procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. 
   Meet customer service objectives
   


2. Maintain receiving standards.


3. Meet merchandising standards.


4. Ensure store is set as per merchandise plan-o-grams


5. Protect company assets.


6. Inventory management (Cycle counts, Negative inventory, Spot counts ect..)

7. Maintain store (and backroom) housekeeping standards.


8. Supervision or management of store in absence of Senior Associate, Assistant Manager or Manager’s


9. Perform Store Opening/Closing in absence of Senior Associate, Assistant Manager or Manager’s


10. Oversee restocking crew


11. Play a leadership role in executing seasonal conversion

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Demonstrated ability to work with people. Previous retail experience is desired but not necessary.

2. Problem analysis, oral communication, project management, consensus building, and leadership capabilities.

2. Ability to lift or move goods weighing up to 40 lbs a distance of several feet. Ability to lift merchandise in and out of overstock.


3. Ability to complete basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) necessary to verify cash register balances, process refunds and complete shipment paperwork.


4. Ability to work day , night and weekend shifts
