Sweetness is looking for driven, passionate, smart, reliable, confident, organized individuals who are willing to take a lead role in managing our Sweetness Mobile business this summer. We will have two Food Trucks out on the road from mid-April – September.
Positions Available: 1 Project Coordinator (Burlington/Toronto Based) and 2 Project Team Members (Burlington/Hamilton Based). Both will be salaried positions with performance bonuses delivered bi-weekly.
Successful candidates will all be expected to work out of the Sweetness Food Trucks. Be flexible with a work schedule that ranges from 44 - 50 hours per week including days, evenings and weekends (mandatory for this position). You will be responsible for representing our brand and premium line or products at various festivals and events.
What will you be doing?
Project Coordinator will manage the schedules of both Food Trucks at our operations facility in Burlington. Responsible for daily inventory control and cash management systems and communications with Festival Managers. Both Project Coordinator and Team Members will load the product daily, drive to the event, set up for business, promote locations on social media, manage inventory, manage cash, sell the baked goods, return to the operations facility in Burlington, unload, clean truck, prepare event report and drive back home. Depending on locations overnight stays are possible but not probable. May also be tasked to seek out curbside events and locations.
What are we looking for?
• You are a self-starter who will work proactively to identify problems and create solutions, not afraid to take control and problem solve
• You have 2 years of experience with customer service and experiential marketing
• You have a flexible schedule and full time availability from mid April-August
• You are pursuing or have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business field
• You are an individual with an outgoing personality and a ‘can-do’ attitude
• You must have superior multi-tasking and organizational skills
• You have a clean Class G driver’s license record
• You have a access to a reliable car
