Through research, public scholarship, community building, and the preparation of education practitioners and policymakers, we articulate and advance our dije agenda.The Educational Studies Department is seeking a Master's Program Manager who serves as an important member of the ES leadership team. You will be responsible for providing full cycle support and mentorship to current and future students by managing the internship program, leading special projects in support of the Master's program, and working collaboratively with the Marsal Education Recruiting and Admissions team. This includes providing students with information on program requirements, managing student financial support, and student community building initiatives. Partner on implementation, promotion, and evaluation of Master's program initiatives, including the internship program. Collaborate with the Office of Student Affairs and Educational Studies faculty advisors to provide holistic support for master's students inside and outside the classroom. Assess current needs of students and plan/facilitate events and programs to support student learning. Serve as a key member of the Educational Studies administrative team and represent program interests. Support activities and events for internal and external constituents such as students, donors, and community leaders. Support faculty in identifying University student support for academic and non-academic needs (e.g., Sweetland Writing Center, English Language Institute, ISR training, Financial Aid, Housing, and the International Center) Required Qualifications* Master's degree. Five + years working with students and faculty in an academic setting. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in a university environment. Ability to build collegial relationships with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff. Excellent planning, organizational and work coordination skills. A positive, flexible, responsive service-oriented attitude. Knowledge of higher education practices, procedures, and campus resources. Ability and desire to learn new software and reporting tools. Working knowledge of Business Objects and M-Pathways a plus. Work Locations The Marsal Family School of Education is located at 610 E. University, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. While the majority of the work days will be on site at the Marsal School, this role will allow for a flexible schedule of up to two days per week performed remotely. Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent upon the business needs of the school and/or university requirements .
