We are looking for dedicated Waiters/Waitresses to join our client's team in a restaurant or dining establishment, contributing to their commitment to providing excellent customer service and dining experiences. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that their patrons have an enjoyable and satisfying dining experience. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently and courteously, we invite you to apply for this position. Responsibilities: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages. Take orders, accurately record them, and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff. Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables. Serve food and beverages to patrons in a courteous and efficient manner. Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and advise on menu selections. Address customers' complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Present bills to customers and accept payments in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers' cheques, or room billings. Balance cash and record sales accurately. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. Describe and advise on wine selection. Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware. Perform sensory evaluation of wines. Supervise other servers and bussing staff. Train staff in service procedures and customer service standards. Schedule staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive dining experience for all patrons. Requirements: Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages. Ability to communicate effectively in English or French. Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is an asset. Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English or French Hours: 30 hours per week
