We are seeking a Chef on behalf of our client, responsible for overseeing the kitchen, creating menus, and preparing exceptional dishes while maintaining high culinary standards. If you have a passion for cooking, creativity in the kitchen, and strong leadership skills, we'd like to introduce you to this pivotal role in the world of culinary arts and restaurant management.Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory Create new recipes Instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods Requisition of food and kitchen supplies Train staff in the preparation, cooking and handling of food Manage kitchen operations Supervision- 5-10 people Work conditions and physical capabilities- Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Attention to detail Personal suitability- Efficient interpersonal skills Organized Reliability Team player Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
