We are currently recruiting a Food Service Supervisor on behalf of our client, to oversee and coordinate food service operations, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to standards in their establishment. If you have strong leadership and hospitality skills, we'd like to introduce you to this supervisory role.Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting- Restaurant Tasks- Establish methods to meet work schedules Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Estimate and order ingredients and supplies Hire food service staff Ensure food service and quality control Prepare budget and cost estimates Address customers' complaints or concerns Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare and submit reports Prepare food order summaries for chef Supervise and check assembly of trays Establish work schedules Supervision- 5-10 people Kitchen and food service helpers Work conditions and physical capabilities- Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Personal suitability- Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Team player Other benefits- Free parking available Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week Close Date: 2023-12-30
