Description:
We're looking for a Cashier for our client. If you have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and enjoy engaging with customers, we'd like to introduce you to this role as an essential part of our client's team. Requirements- Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks- Process customer transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems. Greet customers, answer inquiries, and provide information about products or services. Scan and bag items, handle returns, exchanges, or refunds when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area for efficient customer service. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy. Handle cash, credit card, or other forms of payments following established procedures. Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers accurately. Upsell or promote additional products or services to customers at the checkout. Assist in restocking shelves or inventory as needed during downtime. Follow security measures and protocols to prevent theft or fraudulent activities. Work conditions and physical capabilities- Fast-paced environment Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
