Job Description:Job Title: Drum HandlerJob #: 2023-6148Location: Mt. Clemens, MISchedule: 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday thru Friday (Training will be on 6:00am to 2:00pm shift, and after training candidate will move to 2:00pm to 10:00pm shift)Salary: $22.00 HourlyJob Number: 2023-6148Number of Positions: 1Job FunctionsDrum/Tote Handler * Procures and delivers drums/totes to manufacturing departments as requested. * Inventories drums/totes on site * Receives and unloads drums and totes that arrive on site * Loading of empty dirty drums/totes on trailers to be removed from the site. * Communicates with Supply Chain inventory of drums, totes, pails to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained. * Accurately scan empty containers so inventory is removed from the electronic system. * Maintains daily Kanban sheet and communicates across the plant. * Must be able to lift to 50lbs repeatedly.Education & Experience * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) * 2-3 years related job experience required. * Experience operating Hi Lo or Forklift in a high hazard and space confined work environment required. * Experience in customer service and or order fulfillment required. * Licensed Hi Lo or Forklift Operator preferred.Our Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
