Description:
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Childcare Provider to join our team. This position would be full-time through the summer months and continue as part-time in September with the possibility of increased hours for subbing. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. You will play a vital role in their development by providing educational activities and ensuring their well-being.Duties: Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise Ensure the health and safety of all children by following proper hygiene practices and implementing safety protocols Provide emotional support to children as needed Requirements: First aid and CPR Criminal records check and child abuse registry check Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
