Position: Warehouse Coordinator Position Type: Full time Location: Surrey, BC Hours of work: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm Position Overview We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to lead the warehouse in the day-to-day operations and to coach staff on efficiencies and creating a better end user experience. Compensation Plan Competitive base hourly rate - Depends on Experience Paid Vacation time. Generous annual boot allowance. Primary Job Functions Supervise and control workflow. Delegation of tasks. Distribute workforce as needed throughout department. Supervise staff to ensure work is timely, effective, and in accordance with quality requirements. Communicate job expectations and coach employees on procedures. Train, rotate and cross-train staff on each aspect of the warehouse processes for all shifts. Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals for department. Foster a culture of accountability. Ensuring that all tools and equipment in warehouse are safe and operational. Assist in operations as necessary to achieve department goals. Qualifications Initiative-taker able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment. Computer use to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other computer work. Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
