Business Systems Specialist - computer systems (NOC 21221)

Job Requirements Essential Functions : Confer with clients to identify and document requirements. Analyze information systems processes and propose customized solutions to improve performance and efficiency. Design, develop, integrate, test and implement information systems business solutions. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery. Act as a liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams Conduct tests to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and functionality of system changes and enhancements. Responsibility : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their business processes, needs, and requirements. Develop and design solutions based on the gathered requirements, leveraging SAP Business One's functionalities and best practices. Customize and configure SAP Business One to align with the stakeholders business processes. This includes defining workflows, data fields, user roles, and system settings. Plan and execute data migration activities, ensuring smooth transition of existing data into the SAP Business One system. Integrate SAP Business One with other software systems, such as CRM, e- commerce platforms, or third-party applications, to ensure data consistency and streamline processes. Provide training to end-users on how to effectively use SAP Business One, including navigation, data entry, reporting, and basic troubleshooting. Conduct thorough testing of the SAP Business One system and Add-ons to identify and resolve any issues before going live. Create comprehensive documentation including process flows, configuration details, and user guides to ensure proper system usage and maintenance. Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including applying updates, patches, and fixes to keep the SAP Business One system running smoothly and securely. Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure proper access control and data security. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to enhance system speed and efficiency. Set up and manage regular data backups and establish recovery procedures to safeguard critical business data. Implement and enforce security measures to protect the SAP Business One system from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, errors, and system glitches that may arise, either independently or in collaboration with teams. Work with consultants and developers to implement system customizations, enhancements, and integrations based on changing business needs. Create and maintain various reports and dashboards using SAP Business One's reporting tools and Crystal report to provide insights and analysis to stakeholders. Employment Requirements : A bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information systems or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science is required. SAP Business One certification.
