As a member of our team of champions, you will gain meaningful work experience in a welcoming and exciting environment where we lead by example and work together to achieve results. Job Types: part-time, permanent Wages : $19-$20 / hr YOU WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Learn from our Executive Chef and Banquet team Prepare and execute banquet service for weddings, socials, corporate and even celebrity events taking place at the Arlington Hotel & River’s Edge Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen; instilling safe food handling practices Participate in the production and plating of all food service areas Take proactive efforts to minimize waste and maximize quality Maintain product consistency of seasonings, portion, and appearance of food POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge in Food Safety Standards and Guidelines, including safe food handling practices and certificate 1-2 years’ culinary experience Experience in the catering or event industry preferred Team oriented and willing to learn Positive, outgoing, and friendly team member Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Evening and weekend availability required WHAT CAN WE OFFER?
