As a Cabinet and Door Installer, you will be responsible for the precise installation of cabinets and doors in residential and commercial settings. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. $25-$35 per hr, Etobicoke Responsibilities: • Cabinet Installation: Precisely measure, cut, and install cabinets according to project specifications and design plans. • Door Installation: Install a variety of doors, including interior and exterior doors, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality. • Hardware Installation: Attach and secure hardware such as handles, knobs, hinges, and locks to cabinets and doors. • Trim Work: Perform finishing touches, including trim work and molding, to enhance the overall appearance of installed cabinets and doors. • Read and Interpret Blueprints Interpret design plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and alignment of cabinets and doors. • Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that installations meet industry standards and client expectations. • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including designers, cabinet makers, and site managers, to ensure seamless project execution. • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and others. • Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or questions related to the installation process. Responsibilities: 1. Cabinet Assembly: Assemble cabinet components, ensuring precise dimensions as specified by the foreman and client. Verify and double-check all calculations to achieve proper alignment of doors, hinges, and side panels, using blueprints or design plans as reference. 2. Blueprint Interpretation: Prepare and interpret drawings or blueprints for accurate execution of woodworking projects. 3. Material Management: Receive, unload, and organize materials and supplies efficiently to facilitate smooth project execution. Pack, load, and unload finished products as required. 4. Cabinet Installation: Install cabinets and hardware, such as hinges and handles, with precision, and promptly order replacement materials when needed. Reinforce joints and attachments to ensure sturdiness and durability without compromising aesthetics or functionality. 5. Site Work and Safety: Perform site work as needed to ensure successful installation and completion of projects. Maintain a safe working environment by cleaning and disposing of materials properly. Requirements: • Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cabinet and/or door installation. • Carpentry Skills: Proficient in carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, and finishing. • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precise and accurate installations. • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required. • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively. • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during installations. • Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy cabinets and doors. • Tools: Possess and maintain personal tools necessary for the job. • Reliability: Punctual and reliable, with a commitment to meeting project deadlines. • Safety Conscious: Prioritize safety protocols and adhere to industry safety standards Benefits Dental care Extended health care Vision care
