Backwoods Security is currently seeking experienced full-time Security Guards to work Edmonton Vulnerable Sector Wage: $18.00 / Hour Shift: 8 - 12 Hour shifts What we offer: Competitive Health Benefit Package All uniforms and PPE Career growth opportunities Job Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by patrolling and monitoring premises Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect building, equipment, and access points Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain if necessary Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team or individually Visitor Management, CCTV Monitoring Job Requirements: 2 to 3 years experience in a high risk environment: low income or homeless shelters, etc. (preferred) Minimum 1 year experience in a Security Guard position (preferred) Valid Alberta security License (required) Valid First Aid Certification (required) Driver’s License (required) Certificates/ License: Valid Security Guard License (Alberta), Standard First Aid required Language Requirement : Must speak and read English fluently Experience: Security Guard: 2-3 years (preferred) Homeless Shelter/ Vulnerable Sector: 2-3 year (required) Powered by JazzHR
