Award-winning OEB Breakfast Co. is looking to hire two Food Service Supervisors to join our growing team in the Ambleside location. We are looking for people who truly love great food, have a passion for hospitality, and want to be part of great team that is focused on great quality, and making people happy.Job Duties Requisition food and kitchen supplies Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Prepare budget and cost estimates Address customers' complaints or concerns Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare and submit reports Prepare food order summaries for chef Establish work schedules Establish methods to meet work schedules Personal Suitability: Reliable, Dependability, OrganizedWork Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail Fast-paced environment Repetitive tasks Tight deadlines Languages: EnglishEducation: Secondary (high) school graduation certificateExperience: 7 months to less than 1 yearNumber of Positions: 2 (Two)Salary: $ 20 per hourJob Type: Permanent employment, Full time 35-40 hours per weekStarting date: As soon as possibleWork Address: 1390 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, BC V7T 0B5Employment groups: Indigenous people, Persons with disabilities, Newcomers to Canada and refugees, Youth, and Visible minorities.Only persons who are legally allowed to work in Canada can apply for this job.
