The Opportunity Our outsourcing team based in Toronto is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the team by taking charge of our French-speaking clients. Reporting to the Senior Manager in Outsourcing, the successful candidate will join a dynamic team where they will be actively involved in projects, participate in the selection and mentoring of interns, share their ideas, and much more. Your responsibilities Supervising a junior accountant responsible for maintaining the books of subsidiaries of international companies in English and French: managing cash flows, purchases, sales, payroll, fixed assets, taxes, and equity; Preparing and recording year-end entries and preparing periodic financial reports; Preparing sales tax returns at the federal level and in various provinces of Canada; Performing compilation and review engagements for companies in various industries, and preparing related tax returns; Identifying any errors and irregularities in the client's transaction recording, if applicable; Collaborating with the tax department to review and supervise corporate tax returns at all levels, for all types of income and groups of companies; Participating in business development. Your profile Have a background in accounting and management (training on the specifics of our clients will be provided by us); Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Thorough knowledge of Quickbooks Online, Caseware, Taxprep; Strong organizational and priority management skills; Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and within the team; Proficiency in French and English, to effectively interact with all our clients in Quebec and beyond.
