Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our team in Vernon, BC! This is a great opportunity to get some extra hours in this summer while working in beautiful Vernon BC at the Kalavista Boat Launch. Seasonal Positions Available: Saturday and Sunday 11am till 7pm from July 1st to August 31st Payrate: $22/hr Your Must-Haves: You hold a valid BC security license Class 5 BC Drivers Licence and clean abstract You are comfortable and confident managing and directing members of the public You have proven customer service skills You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills Some of your responsibilities will include: Conducting patrols and monitoring the boat launch site and surrounding areas Offer first class customer service and directing members of the public as required to maintain safety of users Maintain detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports Maintain a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor What’s in it for you?
