About the Team As Workday Grants Management transforms the experience of managing your people, grant funding, and compliance, we seek an individual with a deep understanding of higher education, government, and healthcare financial accounting needs. This includes knowledge of relevant grant funding mechanisms, regulations, accounting principles, financial reporting standards and recommended practices. In this role, you will not only be the voice of the customer for our existing offerings, but also play a key role in crafting the product for some of the largest organization across the globe. About the Role We're seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record in delivering research and grant management solutions. You'll become the champion for our customers, deeply understanding their specific needs and challenges through in-depth research and close collaboration. By translating their needs into actionable requirements and a compelling product vision, you'll ensure the next generation of Workday Grants Management delivers a transformational user experience and empowers them to achieve greater efficiency and actionable insights.Leading both product discovery and delivery, you'll guide our cross-functional teams (including Engineering, QA, Services, UX, and Research) to develop and deliver simple, complete, and lovable solutions impacting key areas like award contracts, grant accounting, billing and payments, and reporting - all designed with global customers in mind. About You Are you a passionate product leader or consultant with a proven track record in research and grant management solutions? If you thrive in collaborative environments and possess the expertise to translate customer needs into actionable product visions, we encourage you to apply! Basic Qualifications: 4+ years of proven experience in product management for accounting products OR Workday consulting background implementing grants management, financial accounting or payroll accountingStrong accounting acumen especially with higher education, healthcare, or government. Accounting principles and reporting standards applicable to US and CANOther Qualifications:4+ years of related experience as a subject matter expert, business analyst, or implementation consultant for Workday Grants Management4+ years of functional domain expertise in any of the following: grants management, financial or payroll accounting, revenue/project management, billing and payments, or compliance reporting.Experience working with the UK public and private sector grant funding landscape (particularly in higher education, government, and healthcare).Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams. Comfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Passion for building innovative and impactful solutions in financial enterprise software.Proven track record of delivering real product outcomes . Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
