Hi, I’m KerriLee from JENNY BIRD. I’m the Sr. Sales Manager for Canada & US Eastern and Corporate territories, and we’re looking for a Sales Rep to join the team. Our wholesale team is small but mighty – and growing quickly due to the explosive growth our channel has seen over the past couple of years. Our team is responsible for bringing JENNY BIRD to some of the best retailers across Canada, the US and internationally. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Rep who is a natural people person, a boutique connoisseur, an empath and a storyteller. We are looking for someone who loves JENNY BIRD and will tell & sell the story and world of all things JB. Position Overview The Sales Rep will report directly to our in-house Sr. Sales Managers. This position is vital to keeping our most loyal territory humming and buzzing - as well as developing new relationships and expanding our presence in other territories throughout Eastern Canada. This role requires a self-starting attitude, tons of drive and a desire to build meaningful relationships that will foster natural growth. You’ll be a great fit if you thrive in a fast paced, rapidly growing and ever changing environment. We're looking for someone personable with the natural ability to build great relationships. If you have a keen eye for visual merchandising, exceptional people skills and draw energy from being a part of a team, we’d like to meet you! This role requires road travel and someone who is comfortable with regular store visits (get your podcasts lined up!). Travel to the US may be required as needed. The Responsibilities: ● Manage the territory on a daily basis, providing top-in industry service to our accounts in Ontario.● Selling into current accounts to meet and exceed sales targets.● Prospecting of new accounts in Ontario that would be a good brand fit.● Visiting accounts with frequency to build the relationship and ensure the brand is well represented in stores.● Support our partners with visual merchandising, assets, assortment planning and in-store events.● Managing retailer conflicts as they arise with grace and compassion● Highlighting opportunities to the Sr. Sales Managers - such as retailer incentives, display ideas and product feedback● Continuously cleaning up accounts that are not performing or not up to brand standards.● Providing our partners with the accurate information needed to sell the collections at a retail level - including product knowledge and styling techniques.● Clearly communicating feedback from our partners to the greater team - including Brand Marketing, Product Development and Finance.● Having a strong presence on our wholesale Instagram and utilizing this as a tool to communicate with and prospect accounts in Ontario & Eastern Canada. What you bring to the table ● You have a valid driver's license and are comfortable with traveling within Ontario on a weekly basis, or as needed.● You are bilingual - English & French● You communicate clearly and with kindness and work well collaboratively.● You thrive in social environments such as events and sales meetings.● You are organized personally and professionally; you take pride in an organized space and mind, and you can balance several different projects both large and small.● You are a team player and embody a “no task too small” mindset.● You have a keen eye for visuals and can support our partners with marketing assets as needed.● You are familiar with tools like CanvaDon’t sweat it if you don’t have everything listed above.
