Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.Work site environment Hot Cold/refrigerated ResponsibilitiesTasks Install and overhaul heating systems Install refrigeration systems Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation Measure and lay out reference points for installation Troubleshoot heating systems Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment Provide customer service Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system Handle, recover and store refrigerants Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems CredentialsCertificates, licences, memberships, and courses Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification Experience and specializationAir conditioning and refrigeration systems Heat pump Air motioning and circulation Built up (split system) Humidification and de-humidification system Ventilation Additional informationSecurity and safety Driver's validity licence check Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Attention to detail Manual dexterity Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Punctuality Client focus Dependability and Flexibility Judgement Reliability Team player BenefitsOther benefits Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Team building opportunities Who can apply to this job?Only apply to this job if: You are a Canadian citizen, a permanent or a temporary resident of Canada.
