Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for unloading and loading trucks and placing materials onto extended-reach racking. The warehouse associate also assists in the breakdown of arriving shipments and the building of outbound shipments. Salary- $22/hour Working hours- 8 am-4 pm, 9am-5pm (3-4 days/week) Location- North York (Dufferin and Steeles) Responsibilities Operate electrical extended-reach forklift and normal-reach forklifts. Unload and load trucks Assist in the documentation of shipments Counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking products of various sizes to make sure shipments are safe Keeping an inventory of products in the warehouse and making sure everything is in the correct place and ordered if needed Receiving and processing POs Follow all company and legislated health and safety requirements Participate in all training as required Perform general labourer functions as required Pickup and deliver materials using a company vehicle Other duties as assigned Requirements Valid forklift certification (Raymond Reach) 2-3 years experience in a warehouse environment G License- Asset Ability to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs) Motivated, self-starter Strong communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Reliable, dependable and self motivated
