QA Test Automation Engineer

Description:
In this role, you will: 1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to plan and design test automation strategies and approaches for various projects.2. Test Case Development: Develop automated test scripts and test cases based on project requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.3. Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications across different platforms and environments.4. Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.5. Test Framework Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks to support efficient and scalable test automation efforts.6. Test Environment Setup: Set up and configure test environments, including software, hardware, and network configurations, to facilitate automated testing.7. Performance Testing: Develop and execute performance test scripts to assess the performance and scalability of applications under different load conditions.8. Documentation: Document test procedures, test results, and automation scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team. Required Skills and Experience: Strong English verbal and written communication skills Experience with Closure Script Experience with Ruby on Rails Experience with SQL and Mongo Experience with Windows Experienced with test automation using Selenium TestComplete or similar COTS automation tools Good working knowledge of Jenkins Comfortable at looking for ways to automate and optimize common tasks Professional experience in software quality assurance Experience with VMWare, Kubernetes, Helm Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, particularly telephony and networking Looks for opportunities to improve test automation tooling and code Familiar with best practices for test automation Skilled in working with distributed systems Knows the difference between a road block and a hurdle Can independently troubleshoot and investigate issues that arise High Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
