Job Responsibilities Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials for quality, ensuring compliance with specifications. Interpret construction plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution of concrete finishing tasks. Coordinate the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces to meet grade requirements. Correct imperfections by filling voids and smoothing freshly poured concrete surfaces. Utilize power vibrating equipment to compact concrete efficiently. Achieve precise surface levels according to specified grades and depths using straight edges or floating. Apply various hand and power tools to achieve desired finishes on concrete surfaces. Ensure the security of fixtures such as anchor bolts, steel plates, and door sills in freshly poured concrete. Apply appropriate hardening and sealing compounds to enhance surface durability and longevity. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment. Implement waterproofing and damp-proofing measures to protect concrete surfaces. Perform maintenance tasks including repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures such as floors, walls, and roads. Collaborate with construction team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely project completion. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote productivity and safety. Perform other duties as required. Job Requirements Completion of Secondary School. Completion of an apprenticeship program or at 2-3 years of work experience. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to concrete work. Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in concrete finishing tasks. Flexibility to work in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements. How to apply?
