We are looking for experienced Harvest Operators to join our Alberta team on Seasonal basis from May 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024. LOCATION Sexsmith, Alberta WORK HOURS This is a Seasonal Role, and 40 hours/week are not guaranteed. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE: Operate heavy machinery such as a tractor with a vacuum harvester or harrows and other related equipment. Ensure that machinery, equipment, and tools are operational by performing routine and preventative maintenance (i.e. greasing tractor) and cleaning the machinery and equipment. Participate in regular safety initiatives. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent Previous 1-3 years of experience in farming, equipment operation or mechanical knowledge considered an asset [Training will be provided]. Working as a part of a small team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Possess mechanical aptitude. Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Follow all rules, policies, and procedures. Position is weather dependent; overtime, evenings, and weekends as required. Powered by JazzHR
