We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Financial Advisor Trainee in our North York office. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to jumpstart your career in the financial industry while receiving comprehensive training and mentorship from experienced professionals. Responsibilities: Conduct financial analysis, including data collection, modeling, and reporting. Assist in the creation of comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' needs and goals, with a focus on achieving retirement objectives. Collaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies and improve taxation planning. Participate in asset management activities, including portfolio analysis and investment recommendations. Work with clients on a flexible schedule to accommodate their needs and preferences. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies to help clients achieve financial independence. Learn and adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies. Requirements: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and with a particular emphasis on active listening. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other relevant software. Basic numeracy skills and comfort working with financial calculations.
