Duties and Responsibilities Providing exceptional planning and advice on cross border structures and compliance Being a key contributor to the growth of a new US Tax group, and contributing to tax planning and client management initiatives Providing both technical and project management support on U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax projects Researching, interpreting tax legislation, formulating solutions and providing suggestions Identifying and recommending creative solutions to tax issues Bringing to the attention of the Manager or Tax Partner, any significant issues or findings, along with recommendations. Discussing matters with the Assurance Partner if required. Acting in the capacity of Development Advisor to specific US tax staff, provide support and development, if deemed appropriate Preparing all types of US tax returns Assistance to other offices of the Firm as required Requirements: Graduate of a University Accounting Program, or equivalent Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation 3-5 years of work experience with US Taxation Thorough understanding of the Internal Revenue Code.
