About the Role As an Android engineer focused on build infrastructure, you will develop your expertise in computer science and programming within a team-oriented and stimulating setting. Your responsibilities will include enhancing our Android build processes and systems, from initial scoping and effort estimation to the implementation of robust, well-tested solutions. You will take the lead on your projects, identifying and addressing bugs, and continuously refining our build and deployment processes. If you are adaptable, articulate, reliable, and excited about making a significant impact, this role is for you. About You Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in engineering with a strong focus on build systems, infrastructure, and automation for Android or similar platform environments 3+ years of experience with build and release tools such as Gradle, or Bazel, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design Experience with script languages for automation (e.g., Python, Shell) Other Qualifications: Solid understanding of Kotlin or Java as it relates to Android development Demonstrated capability to work with agile methodologies Proven track record of managing build environments for Android or web applications, including experience with version control systems like Git Familiarity with test automation frameworks and practices Passion for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps principles Previous experience in iOS or mobile web development is beneficial but not required Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
