Permanent Position: 2 Plasterers Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Wage Rate: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour, for 35-40 hours per week Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Main Office: 1010 East 63rd Ave, Vancouver, BC V5X 2L1 Location of Work: Candidates will be required to work at various locations in Fraser Valley & Lower Mainland depending upon the Company's contracts Education: Completion of Secondary School Experience: 1 2 years of related experience Language: Basic English Major Work Area: Construction- Residential & CommercialJob Duties: Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency Clean and prepare surfaces; Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim Cure freshly plastered surfaces Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to drySkills Requirements: Ability to work long hours and / or weekends are required.
