Position Overview: The Shop Foreman will oversee the daily operations of our client's machinery workshop, including the maintenance, repair, and servicing of agricultural equipment. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled technicians, fostering an environment of teamwork, high performance, and continuous improvement. This role is suited for a leader who excels in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and supervise the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring all machinery and equipment operate at optimal performance. Oversee inventory management of parts and supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness. Enforce safety policies and procedures within the workshop, promoting a safe work environment. Provide technical guidance and support to the team, facilitating ongoing training and development. Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce downtime. Manage customer relations by ensuring high standards of service and addressing any issues with professionalism and urgency. Requirements: Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or in a similar leadership role within the agricultural or related industries. Strong mechanical background with in-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Commitment to safety standards and experience in implementing safety protocols. Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to workshop operations.
