Employer: SHERGILL ELECTRICAL LTD Business Address: 13990 74 Ave, Surrey, British Columbia V3W 7E6 Title of position: Electrician No. of positions: 3 Wages: $28.50/hr for 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-Time, year-round work Work Location: Surrey, BC and various locations across the lower mainland Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible Job Description for the position of Electrician at Shergill Electrical Ltd is as: Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to plan wiring layouts. Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, intercom, security systems, lighting fixtures and other electrical components. Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors. Test electrical systems for loose connections, broken insulation and isolate faults, using hand and power tools. Splice, join and connect wires to electrical fixtures and components. Organise safe maintenance principle for regulating and scheduling breakdowns. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. Perform other related duties as required. Skills and Experience requirement: Completion of Secondary Education is required. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required. Ability to work long hours and early mornings as required. Ability to communicate in English.
