ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate and foster team environment to deliver the highest level of design. Manage the design team and sub-consultant coordination process. Ability to lead and present in meetings with clients or municipalities Direct and oversee high-quality documentation, provide guidance with technical detail, & explore new solutions Ability to drive the project forward towards successful completion / Motivates and challenges others to perform at their best Participates in networking activities within the design industry and professional organizations Manage Construction Administration process, able to work independently and handle RFI’s, site visits, field reports, & submittal review QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree Minimum of 10 years of professional experience Licensed Architect Experience in the healthcare, justice, research and sport facility areas Eager to learn, good listener, curious & proactive with strong time management skills Clear understanding of applicable codes & building construction systems, materials, and standards Understanding of Permitting process. High proficiency with Revit, Sketchup & Adobe Creative Suite Ability to takes ownership of tasks and project deliverables Comfortable dealing with project stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors, authorities having jurisdiction Strong leadership, critical thinking, effective problem solving and decision-making skills Team player, adaptable and has a positive attitude Powered by JazzHR
