Description Read & interpret design specifications, measurements & drawings to meet customer requirements Sewing Marine canvas & Upholstery based on pattern Cutting & Measuring Fabric, Zippers, Binding etc... Inspect finished products for quality & make adjustments as needed Operate industrial sewing machine & other equipment to ensure accurate & precise fitting Assisting with other duties as required Qualifications Previous experience with a focus on boat tops covers & Marine Upholstery Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment Strong sewing skills Attention to detail, a keen eye for quality & manual dexterity Understanding of design principles & the ability to interpret measurements & specifications accurately Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines & handle multiple assignments Ability to work: Independently & problem-solve when faced with design or installation challenges In various environments, including on-site installations & occasional off-site projects A commitment to punctuality & dependability Knowledge of Marine fabrics, their properties & applications, an asset
