Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Language: English Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Minimum Education: High School Positions Available: 2 NOC Group: Drafting technologists and technicians- (22212) Job Title: Drafting Technician Job Location: 7265 Fraser Street Vancouver, British Columbia V5X 3V8 Canada Job Description: Develop designs and drawings for residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and recommend design changes.Preparing specifications and estimates.Manage the computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstation.Overseeing the projects for construction specifications and cost estimations.Preparing and interpreting specifications.Supervise the work performed by drafters and provide them with the required training.Prepare contract and bidding documents.Finish the required documentation for drawing sets.Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
