Vacancies: 04Start date: (at the latest in 3 months) as soon as possible.Primary Location: 7954 Webster Rd, Delta, BC, V4G 1G6Benefit: Relocation cost covered by employer (up to $1000 after 6 months of completion with employer)Wage rate: $34.00 Hourly, for 35 hours per weekTerms of employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening.Education: High School Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.Languages: Basic knowledge of EnglishType of Industry Experience: Trucking.Job duties: Perform repair work on trucks. Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions. Detection of faults using computerised and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjustment and repair of defective parts, components and systems using hand and power tools. Testing of repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications. Perform other routine activities such as cleaning , lubricating and other maintenance work on equipment. Additional skills: establish methods to meet work schedules, sanitation and safety procedures, clean and maintain tools and equipment used in work.Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.Essential skills: Working with others, problem solving, job task planning and organizing.Other information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
