Our company is revolutionizing the $300B US food supply industry by connecting food service distributors, their customers, and their suppliers on a single all-in-one order management, shopping, payment, and tracking platform to save valuable time and build more profitable businesses. As a Business Development Representative, your primary role will involve identifying potential foodservice distributors who could benefit from a solution like Cut+Dry. Your responsibilities will include initiating cold outreach efforts aimed at initiating conversations regarding the challenges these companies may be facing and illustrating how Cut+Dry can offer a tailored solution. Upon generating interest, your goal will be to coordinate and schedule meetings for our Senior Account Executives to further discuss and explore potential partnerships.This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in Canada What you’ll do: Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads through a high volume of cold-calling, email outreach, and other relevant outreach. Develop a deep understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients. Identify customer gaps, communicate clearly, and create urgency for meetings with Senior Account Executives. Manage tasks efficiently in this high-volume position, including follow-ups and calendar juggling. Prioritize and organize the lead pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis Utilize tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn, and Apollo for efficient job performance. Work as a team to deliver the best customer experience at all times. Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and meetings set. Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to evolving market conditions and customer needs. About you: 1-2+ years of sales experience or transferable experience, including cold-calling Advocate for bringing technology to a legacy market; SaaS sales is a plus but not required Exceptional time management, organizational capabilities, and attention to detail Great communicator with excellent written and verbal skills Comfortable moving fast and multitasking You thrive while working in a fast-paced environment where change is common Positive, passionate, creative and coachable History working in Foodservice Distribution is a huge plus Why Work at Cut+Dry?
