Drywall Taper F/T Drywall Tapers are required for AWSCIT Constructions Ltd. located at 18515 53 Avenue, suite 101 Surrey, BC, V3S 7A4., Canada. If you are self-motivated, a good team player and willing to work in fast paced environment here is an excellent chance to move forward and grab the opportunity. Position: Drywall Taper (Permanent/Full Time)No of Vacancies: 3 Positions.Salary: $28.00 hourly for 30 - 40 hours/week.Education: Secondary education required.Start Date of Employment (approx.): As soon as possible.Language Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English. Experience: 1 year of experience is required.Essential Skills: Able to work in fast paced environment, be physically able to handle heavy equipment. Job Duties: Clean and prepare surfaces, mix compounds, and apply, level and smooth plaster and seal joints. Use appropriate tools and allow coat to dry and sand it after drying. Apply successive coats of compound and repair cracks and holes due to damages. Protect exterior corners by installing metal corner beads. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. Spray acoustic materials over walls and ceilings finishing corners and angles. Work collaboratively between departments for efficiency.
