We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team. The HR Intern will assist the HR Department in various HR-related tasks and gain valuable experience in Human Resources. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, HR administration and talent management. Job responsibilities will include: Assist in recruitment and selection process including job postings, candidate screenings, and scheduling interviews. Assist in onboarding new employees by preparing and organizing new hire paperwork, assisting with orientation sessions, and facilitating employee training sessions. Collaborate on employee engagement activities such as organizing team building activities, employee appreciation events, and employee surveys. Assist in the HR administration activities including, but not limited to, policy review and development, editing job descriptions, coordinating benefit enrollments, maintaining employee records and files and auditing required forms. Provide additional support to other HR-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications/Experience: Currently pursing a degree in Human Resources or related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Work and PowerPoint Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Who we are: Hohl Industrial Services, Inc. established in 1950, with headquarters in Tonawanda, NY, is a full service specialized organization that provides for a diverse industrial clientele.
