The Role: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Engineered Wood Product Designer (EWP) to contribute to the development and design of our innovative wood products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with wood materials, a strong background in engineering, and a keen eye for design aesthetics. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping engineered wood products that meet our clients' specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Utilize CAD software to create detailed design drawings and specifications for engineered wood products. Conduct research on emerging trends, materials, and technologies to enhance product design and functionality. Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are feasible and can be produced efficiently. Generate prototypes and participate in product testing and validation processes. Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, addressing inquiries and resolving design-related issues. Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in all product designs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Wood ,Science, or related field. Proven 2-5 year experience in product design, preferably in the wood products industry. Proficient in MiTek software Strong understanding of wood materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to problem-solve. A passion for sustainability and environmentally conscious design practices. Powered by JazzHR
