SENIOR IT ANALYST/TECHNOLOGY TRAINER Starting Annual Salary: $66,814 Wayne County has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for the Senior IT Analyst position in our Department of Information Technology (DoIT). This is an excellent opportunity to put your knowledge and skills to work and actually SEE the benefits! The Senior IT Analyst is responsible for conducting training classes by presenting job-specific, company-specific, and generic software applications, along with personal computer classes. The Senior IT Analyst will design computer training manuals and audio-visual training components by identifying and describing information needs; using desktop publishing; submitting initial versions for review; and revising and editing final copy. The Senior IT Analyst will be expected to conduct computer training needs assessments by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and reports, while understanding job-specific functions and tasks. This position will work closely with technical writers, business advocates and SMEs to gather requirements and procedures while working closely with team members for training document creation. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Education, Training or Technology and will also possess at least 4 years of full-time experience in a technical training role in an enterprise or education environment. Also, qualified candidates will be familiar with Camtasia, Captivate or similar video production applications.
