IMMEDIATE OPENINGS DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES In the Department of Public Services - Equipment Division, Laborers ensure that the building is maintained in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include: perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls, cleaning glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may also include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, operating equipment, and infrequent office work.
