Mississauga ON, L4T 1A8 Duration : Full Time, Permanent Salary : $17.00/Hour for 40 Hours/Week Employment type : Full time Job timing : Day, Morning Benefits : Other Benefits Vacancies : 1 Start Date : As soon as possible Languages : English Main Duties : Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals or other customers Establish work schedules and procedures Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Repetitive tasks Standing for extended periods Work under pressure Attention to detail Employment Requirements : Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Food Service Supervisor is required.
