Web Master Location: Stratford, Ontario We are looking for an inspiring, motivated Web Master to join our team. This individual will be working out of a client location inStratford. This person will be responsible for administering and supporting the client’s applications through troubleshooting and upgrades. The Applications Support Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining the content and technology of the client’s website. Duties & Responsibilities • Customer Satisfaction o Develop and maintain documentation for environments o Proactively suggest and implement best practices to improve quality of work, working process, and technology standards, including running regular project audits and post mortems • Manage customer communication • Application Support o Software licensing administration o GIS administration o SQL Server Database maintenance, including backups and running of scripts o Support the client’s applications through troubleshooting errors and coordinating with vendors for support o Test and review application upgrades for the client o Upgrade/implement application in conjunction with recommendations from the Manager of IT and the Team Lead • Web Administration o Maintain current web siteas it relates to web content o Develop changes on web sitein coordination with stakeholders and project manager o Coordinate with various departments as it relates to web changes and development o Make recommendations to the current site and tools used to effectively manage the web siteo Evaluate and make recommendations as it relates to the in- house developed web content management system o Maintain articles, audio/video files, pictures, marketing material, photographs o Respond to webmaster inquiries in coordination with the appropriate responses o Prioritizes and work with departments to address any web issues and/or requests from the centralized ticketing system Desired Skills & Background The perfect candidate will have: • Certification and Education: o Bachelor’s Degree, College degree or equivalent • Background: o 3yrs of web sitedevelopment o 3yrs application support • Approach: o Continuously learning o Adaptable and flexible o Multitasking and results orientated o Innovative o Organized and attention to detail o Customer service orientated and has a positive attitude o Superior verbal and written correspondence skills • Other o Previous background with SQL databases This role offers a competitive pay, an incentive plan, a car allowance, and a benefit plan.
