IPN Brainpower Consulting Inc. System Engineer For our client, a Vancouver based technology company, we are looking for a System Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities: Working within the Fuel Systems Group, the applicant will be responsible for the design, documentation and verification of our complete fuel system for our client latest natural gas engine products. This requires involvement throughout the entire design to production life-cycle and includes interpreting customer needs into technical requirements, creation of the system and component sub-system architecture, verification planning, analysis and reporting as well as continuous improvement and failure analysis support. Requirements: The perfect candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Software development plus 5 to 7yrs progressive experience. A master's degree in System Engineering and membership in INCOSE is an asset. Automotive industry experience is preferred, but applicants with aerospace or other software backgrounds will also be considered. A strong understanding of APQP product development and standard tools is desired. A experience in diesel engine sub-systems is preferred; additional experience with high-pressure gas or hydraulics for industrial products would be an asset. Must have outstanding written and verbal communication abilities and the expertise to work in a quick paced, team environment.
