Responsibilities of the Security Architect:
• Presales design and helping close hardware, software and services opportunities to achieve the overallSecurity Solutions Practice revenue and margins. Be able to scope engagements to a high degree ofaccuracy with appropriate assistance and review from the organization's pre-sales and post-sales resources.Manage and track sales opportunity pipelines, forecasts, revenue and margin.
• Assist sales and inside specialty teams with the design of SOW and BOM for customer network solutions.Build and manage an opportunity pipeline for the organization's Security Solutions Practice.
• Be a primary contact and sales resource for all Field Account Executives, Inside Account Executivesand customers. Enable the organization's sales teams to be highly successful selling world class networksolutions.
• Lead solutions assurance process for complex multi-vendor, cross-practice solutions to maximizecustomer satisfaction during implementation.
• Be a subject matter expert about products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitiveactivities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consultingwith marketing and technical services. Maintain credible knowledge of competing technologies andsolutions.
• Work with other Solution Architect Practices including Data Center, Office Productivity, Networks,Mobility and Cloud to develop customer solutions.
• Have a strong current expertise of Enterprise Security: Analyze, design, develop, integrate, configure,implement and support IT infrastructure security resources and services.
• Understand client business drivers and needs. Provide input on strategies to drive revenue for solutions and the overall organizational Security Solutions practice.
• Work with the Delivery and Implementation team/Partners to ensure proposed solutions meet customerexpectations.
• Provide management oral and written reports on the client needs, problems, interests, market situation,competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.
• Conduct presentations on-line and in-person to existing and potential customers. Facilitate and performdemos for clients.
• Be responsible for maintaining vendor partner relationship, attend trainings and seminars, and keep salesorganization updated on market trends and best practices as they relate to Security solutions.
• Attend the organization's led marketing efforts including manufacturer trade/partner shows, regional technologyseminars, and sales events. Provide support with speaking engagements when appropriate.
Requirements
• Min 8 yrs of background in Details Technology of which 6yrs of background should be inIdentity and Access Management / Info Security domain• At least 5 years of Pre-sales or consulting background.• Strong knowledge of high-end and complex Security solutions. • Possess some of the following industrycertifications: SANS/ GIAC, CISSP, Cisco, Checkpoint, RSA• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Details Systems, or the equivalent inexperience.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including technical presentations to groups of up to a hundred or more.• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including technical presentations to groups of up to a hundred or more.• Travel required up to 50%• Strong oral and writing skills.• Fluently Multilingual.
